Hi, I’m Chris. I help people get fitter, stronger, and more confident. Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, boost your golf game, or just feel better in your everyday life, I’m here to provide personalised fitness plans that work for you.
I take training seriously — but not myself. With a mix of science, structure, and a bit of humour, I help real people build strength, move better, and feel more at home in their bodies. Whether you’re chasing a stronger golf swing, coming back from a setback, or just figuring out where to start — I’m here to coach you through it.
Why I Do It
As a Type 2 diabetic, fitness is quite literally my lifeline, and, while reshaping my life and health has been a rewarding journey which led to the completion of two Ironman triathlons - including Ironman Kona - it has been, and remains a complex, difficult and ever-shifting process. This experience has proven to me, time and again, that strength comes from both our physical bodies and our inner selves, and that realising the fullness of that strength often needs something else, whether it be better knowledge, a fresh perspective, or a helping hand.
So many people comment that they used to be fitter, better, and stronger – none of us are as young as we once were, and few of our lives get simpler as we go. These comments were why I started Kinnect Coaching: to help people reclaim their strength and confidence, on the golf course, kicking the ball around with their kids, or in life.
How I Do It
I’m a qualified Master Trainer with the Australian Institute of Fitness, and I’m currently studying a specialisation in Biomechanics. I take the time to understand your goals, create a customised plan, and support you every step of the way. Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, I offer clear, actionable advice in a space where you can ask questions and progress without judgement. At Kinnect, it's all about unlocking your full potential, in a way that fits your lifestyle.
